Alexander J. Platte – Associate

Alex Platte joined Rothberg Logan & Warsco in 2011 as an associate and focuses his practice primiarily on banking, bankruptcy, commercial real estate and general commercial law.  He assists clients with a wide variety of business and transactional issues.  In addition, he has experience litigating bankruptcy, health care, insurance and other civil claims.

A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Alex received a B.S. in computer science with distinction from Indiana University and graduated magna cum laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law - Bloomington.  While in law school, he served on the Indiana Law Journal and received the Sigmund J. Beck Award for outstanding achievement in the study of bankruptcy law.

Prior to joining Rothberg Logan & Warsco, Alex was a software developer for Discover Financial Services.  He is active in the community, serving as an At-Large Representative on the Indiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers' Section Council and as a member of Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana.  In his spare time, he is active in his church and enjoys playing music and spending time with his wife and family.
